The Rize of Nazi Power

1.       The Nazi party’s political manifesto was created to help receive more votes. They wanted to unify all Germans in one great Germany. They wanted revenge for the treaty of Versailles. They wanted to acquire more land for their people. They wanted racial purity for Germany. Non Germans could only live in the country as foreigners.
2.       “Aryan” people were people with idealistic blonde hair, blue eyes and thin noses.
3.
4.       They were brought to people through schools, cinemas and radio.

  1. I think the first poster is relavent due to the fact that it portrays that non-ayranic people as unatracttive and less fotunate, it therfore degrades non-ayranic people and tries to infuence ayranic people that non-ayranic people have a bad effect on their race, the poster is however effective and clearly states the attitudes of ayranic people of that time.

  2. The third poster tries to illustrate the ideal ayranic man , woman and child and tries to imply an element of perfection. This then indirectly degrades other races but hides it behind a beutiful poster. It is effective and clearly carries the message of superiority that was commonly carried by the ayranic scociety during that period of time in history.

  3. The picture of the man with the swastika banner is an ideal example of how the Nazi's tried to achieve an Aryan, military race with a strong identification. It shows how the Nazi's portrayed the ideal Aryan and serves to make people think that supporting the Nazis is showing pride in their nation.

  4. The first picture takes the most aesthetically un-appealing Roma person and most aesthetically appealing Aryan person that could be found. This shows clearly how undesirable other races were supposed to be when compared to the Aryans. The Nazis hoped to instill a dislike and discrimanation in the Aryans for other races. It would help to justify their actions towards races such as the Roma in the eyes of the German people.
